Just rebuilt the media-library experience in our Claude Code plugin toolkit.

The old workflow showed a markdown table, then asked what you wanted to do. Now it generates an interactive HTML gallery and opens it in your browser — type filter chips, search box, grid/list toggle, every card clickable.

The underlying pattern is worth noting: skills that produce browsable output should open it natively, not dump text into the terminal. A 14-card gallery with thumbnails communicates more than a 14-row table ever could.

Today I rebuilt the media-library skill in our Claude Code plugin kit. It used to show a markdown table of saved social cards and ask what you wanted to do. Now it generates a self-contained HTML gallery with type filter chips, a search box, grid/list toggle, and clickable thumbnails — then opens it in your browser.

The implementation was straightforward: enhanced the gallery template with data-type/data-topic attributes for client-side filtering, rewrote the skill to skip the intermediate steps, validated across 11 skills, bumped to v2.3.0.
