So I ran an 11-agent workflow to clean the whole thing up in one pass:

- Relocated 60 developer docs to a dedicated docs/guides/ directory (git mv, full history preserved)
- Triaged 112 plans with 5 parallel agents — 24 keepers, 88 archived
- Archived 7 shipped plans after checking each for reusable knowledge
- Normalized 9 non-canonical status values down to three: todo, in-progress, completed
- Wrote a retention policy README and rebuilt the filterable gallery

344K tokens (main loop) + 729K tokens (workflow agents) · 159 files touched · 94% cache hit · 81 min

The big takeaway: multi-agent workflows turn "someday cleanup" into "Tuesday afternoon cleanup." Fan out the triage, pipeline the decisions, collapse the results.

Today I pointed an 11-agent workflow at 179 scattered markdown files that had accumulated over months of plugin development. The docs/ directory had become genuinely unmanageable — seven different status values, no retention policy, developer guides mixed in with plans.

The workflow relocated 60 developer docs, triaged 112 plans (24 keepers, 88 archived), normalized every non-canonical status, and wrote a retention policy. 1M+ tokens across the session, 159 files touched, 94% cache hit rate.

What made this feasible: fan-out triage. Five parallel agents each reviewed ~22 plans, made keep-or-archive decisions, and returned structured results. One orchestrating workflow collapsed everything into a clean directory.
